Stay ConnectedFrequently Asked Questions — Basecamp at SKYLARANNA
Do I need a tent, or are shelters provided?
Basecamp is tent-only camping. Guests bring their own tents and camping gear. No cabins, shelters, or RV sites are available.
Can I drive to my campsite?
No. Vehicles remain in the designated parking area. Campsites are walk-in only, with a short path leading to each site. This keeps the campground quiet and natural. Gear carts may be available when possible.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome, but owners must keep pets supervised at all times, follow leash rules where posted, and clean up after their pets every time. Pets that disturb wildlife or other guests may be asked to leave.
Are there restrooms or showers?
Basecamp offers access to a shared bathhouse with toilets and sinks. Shower availability may be limited; full details will be provided before opening.
Can we swim or access the river?
Yes. Campers enjoy direct river access. Use caution, supervise children closely, and always respect posted safety signs and conditions.
Are campfires allowed?
Fire rings are provided at designated sites. Fires must be kept small, attended at all times, and fully extinguished before leaving the site or going to sleep. Fire restrictions may apply during dry conditions.
What are quiet hours?
Quiet hours are observed each night to protect the peaceful environment. Please be mindful of voices, music, and general noise. Generators are not allowed. In short, be respectful — your neighbors came here for quiet too.
Do we need to pack out our trash?
Yes. Basecamp follows a simple rule: leave the campsite cleaner than you found it. All trash must be bagged and placed in designated collection areas. Nothing should be left behind at the site.
How should we interact with other campers?
Basecamp is built on courtesy. Guests are expected to respect personal space and privacy, keep noise low, and share common areas responsibly. If you would not want it done next to your tent, do not do it here.
Are there special pool options at the resort?
Yes. Campers may be able to purchase optional resort pool passes, based on availability. Details on pricing and availability will be shared closer to opening. This gives campers the option to enjoy wilderness while still having access to a refreshing pool when they want it.
